It stands on the Turkey-Armenia border within the village of Kalkankale, in the Akyaka district of Kars province. About 35 m long and 7 m wide, the bridge has a single round-arched span and is built of cut stone. Its parapets are made of three courses of stone, and on their outer faces reliefs of the Turkish flag and the hammer and sickle are carved side by side. It is registered as an Immovable Cultural Property in Need of Protection (group II).
