The exact date of the Akyaka Bridge, which spans the Karahan Stream and links the İstasyon and Tepe neighbourhoods, is unknown. Judging from its form, however, it is thought to have been built by the Ottomans in the eighteenth or nineteenth century. It is 27.00 m long and 6.00 m wide. It has two arches, both of rounded form.
