Editor's Note
It dates from 1936-1937. It was rebuilt to the same plan and dimensions as an Ottoman barracks, using stones brought by ox-cart from that barracks, which had been abandoned and left in ruins after the Russian occupation of 1878-1918. It has a U-shaped plan. Built of cut stone, it has window and door openings spanned by flat lintels. Today it serves as a multi-purpose social and cultural centre.
