Location: It stands on sloping ground in the village of Meydan, on the road to Çat village, on the southern side of the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. History: No inscription concerning the builder, the patron, the craftsman, or the date of this mosque belonging to the village legal entity has been identified. The only document concerning the mosque's date is the year 1880 in its opening warrant. The villagers state that the mosque existed before 1880.
