Location: It stands in Baş Köyü, in Cimil, in the İkizdere district of Rize. History: The mosque has four different inscriptions in various places. Because these were carved into stone carelessly, some words could not be fully deciphered. However, the year 1315 AH (1897) is consistent across all four. The first inscription, on the upper part of the eastern section of the north facade, reads: "In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Verily We have granted you a manifest victory, 1315/1897." The inscription in the lower part of the same place reads: "..."
