Location: It stands in Orta Köy, in Cimil, in the İkizdere district of Rize. History: The year 1896 in the building's opening warrant is given as its construction date. However, apart from the dates on the minaret, no inscription has been identified on the building. The dates 1379 AH (1959) and 1963 on the minaret shaft indicate the periods when the minaret was added later. In the archival documents concerning Cimil, which comprises the Baş, Orta, and Aşağı villages, the name Hapinç could not be found directly; in all the records it is referred to as the Ortaköy Mosque.
