The Doğancı Quarter Mosque was built in 1871/1872 in the Şalpazarı district of Trabzon, on land sloping north to south, using rubble stone and rough-dressed stone. The rectangular building consists of a portico, a prayer hall, and a women's gallery, with a double-balconied minaret at its northwest corner. Inside, the mihrab, minbar, and preaching pulpit are adorned with rich hand-drawn decoration, while the wooden ceiling and gallery level display colorful, detailed craftsmanship. The exterior has a double row of windows, and the portico was added later.
