The Tiralizade Hasan Bey Mansion is considered the oldest building in the centre of Piraziz district. Built between 1906 and 1908 in the last years of the Ottoman Empire, it is a rare example of civil architecture in the Black Sea region, notable for reflecting mansion life and for its architectural features. Together with the quay and the mosque, this building played a part in the emergence of the town of Piraziz, and it is recognised for the local traits expressed in its architecture. Two storeys high above a basement, the building has a wide courtyard. Inside, the belongings and furniture of the Tiralizade family draw the eye.
