This mosque in the centre of Piraziz district was built in 1869 by Tiralizade Ali Efendi, with the first Friday prayers held there in 1870. Because the surrounding area was opened to settlement in the mid-15th century by dervishes attached to the Samid Abdal Lodge at Turnasuyu in Ordu province, it became known locally as the "Abdal" and "Eren" district. Built in masonry, the structure has a rectangular plan running north-south (22.80 × 13.50 m).
