This was the siege in 1421 of Ottoman-controlled Ordu by the Kubadoğulları Beylik. As a result of the siege, Ordu fell into the hands of the Kubadoğulları, and a settlement was established on the site. Note: The location is an estimate. Since the town backed onto high mountains, it is assumed it would have been besieged from the south.
