Located in Kösebucağı Mahallesi, about 20 km inland from the center of Fatsa, the mosque was built with a stacked construction system using the kurtboğazı technique, in which timber elements are interlocked at the corners. Consisting of a prayer hall (harim) and a women's gallery and having no minaret, the mosque is entered from the north facade through a single-leaf wooden door. The interior is covered by a flat wooden ceiling with carved woodwork, while the exterior has a hipped roof in four directions clad in Marseille tiles.
