Editor's Note
The Boğaz Kesen Bridge is a multi-pier historic bridge in the Erbaa district of Tokat, built at the point where the Yeşilırmak and Kelkit rivers meet, next to a nearby castle settlement dating to the Kingdom of Pontus. The structure has four piers in the water; although its arches have collapsed entirely, a photograph taken by Anderson, who visited the region in the early 20th century, documents that at that time the piers were linked to one another with wooden beams to carry the deck across.
