The bath was probably built by Sinan Paşa, founder of the almshouse in Sincanlı, Afyon, during his time as governor of Sivas, since the translation of Sinan Paşa's Arabic endowment deed clearly states that he had a bath in Uluköy. Although it was badly damaged in the 1942 earthquake, it is a very valuable and beautiful bath in artistic terms. In the 1942 earthquake the disrobing area, that is, the top of the glazed antechamber, collapsed completely. The bath's exterior façades are built of polygonal black stone with the aid of brick courses.
