LOCATION: The fountain is located in Dikenli Village, 8 km from the center of Korgun district, on block 139 and parcel 5. DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to the fountain's inscription, it was built in AH 1233 / AD 1817-18. PATRON: According to the inscription, it was built by Haci Ibrahim Aga. INSCRIPTION: On the flat surface of the fountain there is a vertically rectangular inscription measuring 0.41 x 0.28 m. The prose inscription, in Ottoman Turkish and in celi sulus script and set within three cartouches whose short sides are curved into lobed ogee arches, is worked into the stone using the ground-carving technique.
