Editor's Note
It stood on Halim Baba Street in the Ilyas Bey neighborhood of Tosya district (Gokoglu, 1952, p. 411). The fountain, which no longer exists today, had an inscription measuring 0.30 x 0.30 m on its front facade. The inscription reads: 1- The patron of good and charitable works, Kara Bacakzade 2- Esseyid Elhac Abdullah Aga 3- May the Fatiha be recited for the soul of Serden Gecti, AH 1211 (Gokoglu, 1952, p. 411). According to its inscription, the fountain was built by Kara Bacakzade Seyyid Haci Abdullah Aga in AH 1211 / AD 1796-97.
