It stood on the southeastern wall of the property numbered 1 on Lapaci Cul-de-sac Street in the Hocaimat neighborhood of Tosya district. The original fountain's partially damaged inscription has been placed on the fountain, which has today been entirely renewed. The inscription reads: 1- And from water We made every living thing (Surah al-Anbiya, verse 30). 2- In a blessed spot, a fountain of the water of life, 3- a heart-sought drop for the thirsty, like rock candy. 4- Gemhaci-zade Ismail Cavus is its founder. 5- Its chronogram is (drink the water of paradise... the life). 6- 1331. While the inscription gives no information about the master builder, its 5th line...
