The Yukarı Tekke Mosque has a rectangular plan, with body walls built of adobe. Adjoining the southwest corner of the mosque is a square-plan tomb which, unlike the mosque, is built of cut stone; in front of it stands a small visiting chamber with a round-arched doorway framed in stone. The mosque's wooden ceiling has been rebuilt. The wooden gallery on the north side was renewed during the last restoration. Its hipped roof is covered with both Turkish-style and Marseille-type tiles. A wooden minaret with a cylindrical shaft rises from the roof. The exact date of the mosque's construction is not known.
