It is rectangular in plan, oriented north to south. It consists of rooms opening onto wooden porticoes around an open courtyard. Bearing the character of Late-Period Ottoman architecture, the inn (han) is a typical example of an in-town stopover inn. While rubble stone was the main material, solid brick was used in the arrangements and additions made over time. The inn has two storeys above ground on the west and one above ground on the east. The inn is entered through a bay-windowed iwan-like section, by way of a large round-arched, double-leaved wooden door.
