Editor's Note
It was designated an immovable cultural property requiring protection (group 2) by decision no. 3048 dated 11 July 2017 of the Kocaeli Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Property. The building, owned by the Republic of Turkey General Directorate of Foundations, was closed in 2017 for restoration.
