Editor's Note
The village was founded about 300 years ago when a man named Haci Kadir came from Yukari Karakoy in the Cilimli district and settled here, and the village took its name from him. According to legend, Hasan Dede tended Haci Kadir's water buffalo. While Haci Kadir was away on the Hajj, his wife said to Hasan, "Your master loved this dish very much." Hasan wrapped the food in a cloth and took it to the fields along with the buffalo. As Haci Kadir was praying in Mecca, this food appeared before him, and he recognised that the plate and the cloth were his own.
