The building was constructed in 1943 and designed by the architect Paul Bonatz. One of three colleges laid out as campuses in the Early Republican period, the Boys' Technical Teachers' School consists of two main parts: the administrative and educational units, and the workshops. The 150-meter-long block housing the administrative and educational functions, positioned along an east-west axis at the center of the site, is the defining element between the two sections. North of this block, large workshops are placed around three sides of a wide courtyard. Some workshops also lie to the west and northeast of the courtyard.
