Editor's Note
This is a bathhouse still in working order today. The double bath, built in the 1600s with two large and ten small domes, had its survey, restitution, and restoration projects prepared in 2004 at the request of the Istanbul Regional Directorate of Foundations, together with the architect Kıyas Tökmeci. It is among Turkey's most important seaside Ottoman bathhouses. Over time, as the shoreline was filled in, it now lies within the city. Its architect is unknown.
