Its inscription reads: It is requested that one drink deeply from it; may this fountain rain down divine reward, Efendi. May its benefactor come from you. With Azurcan musk... Beholding it, may God on the day of reckoning grant abundance from its fountain on the day of judgement. He said it became forbidden, having tasted of its honey; our master, with praise, it is the water of life. For the sake of God's pleasure he had this fountain created, in the name of His Excellency the chosen one, beloved of the Creator. Having entirely departed, the Lord said it remains, and graciously made this possible for me. The benefactor Solak Muhammed Ağa, year 1070. Commissioned by: Solak Mehmet Ağa (1660).
