Editor's Note
It stands at the highest part of the hill known locally as Fener Tepe (Lighthouse Hill). The castle remains are spread over a wide area. Although it has suffered damage in various periods, most of it has remained buried underground. Dating to the Middle Byzantine period, the castle is connected with the other castles in the vicinity and occupies a strategically important position. Bibliography: [1] Kurtuluş, İ. H. (2021).
