It is located at the Hızırilyas Tepe site in Yeşilköy village, in the Keşan district of Edirne province. The wall remains of the castle, identified during work on a wind power plant in the area, were found to be irregular cut stones and rubble stones ruined by natural conditions. Numerous ceramic fragments were also encountered in the area. It was registered as a First-Degree Archaeological Site by the Edirne Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Assets through decision no. 2688, dated 13.10.2015.
