Editor's Note
It was built in the late 15th century by Mesih Mehmet Pasha to generate income for his mosque, soup kitchen, and madrasa in Gelibolu. Mesih Mehmet Pasha was one of the grand viziers of Sultan Bayezid II (1481-1512). Because a man named Mevlâna Nasuh oversaw the building's construction and continued to administer the endowment, the bath came to be known among the people as "Nasuh Pasha." The building has a rectangular plan. Originally built as a double bath, one side was later removed to make it a single bath.
