Editor's Note
It once stood south of the Emir Sultan Mosque, at the corner of Hamam Street, surrounded by a wall of kufeki stone, with an oval marble basin. Its spout stone was decorated with a rosette and stylized floral ornament. The fountain's inscription is today displayed at the Muradiye Museum of Qur'an Manuscripts.
