Editor's Note
It was built in the Piremir neighbourhood in the 16th century by Şeyhülislam Abdülkadir Efendi (d. 1584) in honour of Musa Baba. The mosque, with interior dimensions of 8.30 x 8.30 metres, has a portico (last congregation area) 3.05 metres deep. The mosque's entrance has a Bursa arch. The gable wall is bordered on three sides by a traditional band. This mosque, built by Musa Baba, one of the "Babas" of the Orhan Bey period, was rebuilt on its foundations in 1978 through the Musa Baba Mosque Building Association, as it had been damaged for various reasons.
