Editor's Note
It is one of the three churches situated below the main Horomos monastery. The inscriptions on it and its typology indicate that the structure was built in the first half of the 10th century. Its external appearance resembles that of its neighbour, the Church of St. George, which has a domed hall plan. The circular drum rests on four interlocking columns. The church has two doors, on its south and west sides. All the facades of the building are decorated with shell-shaped niches and cornices, and the column capitals inside are made up of scrolls and rows of adjacent circles.
