Editor's Note
It lies within the bounds of the village of Karakurt, in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province. The round-plan, domed rock chapel, carved into the tuff rock, is thought to date to the Early Christian period. Adjoining the south side of the chapel is a tomb monument built of cut stone, which is thought to date to the 14th-15th centuries.
