Editor's Note
It was built in 989 by Vahram Pahlavuni. Built of cut tuff stone, the church has survived because its outer façade was repaired by the villagers. There are inscriptions on the church wall, and it has a dome. The church, thought to be contemporary with the city of Ani, is believed to have been built in the late 9th century. It was registered by decision no. 128, dated 17 March 1989.
