Editor's Note
It lies about 1.75 km southeast of the village centre, beside a small stream. It was built between 1878 and 1919, during the Russian occupation, by the Greek Orthodox community brought here from Trabzon. It has a rectangular plan and a single nave. As far as can be understood from the remains, it was roofed with a barrel vault. The apse to its east is semicircular in plan both inside and out. The chapel is today in ruins.
