According to the dated inscription on its pulpit, the mosque was built in 1852 and has a square plan. Although its outer walls have lost their original character, the prayer hall preserves the traditional fabric with its four large wooden columns. The wooden columns form a square area right at the centre. It is roofed with a wooden ceiling. The mihrab has a muqarnas hood set within a rectangular frame. The pulpit is of wood and bears ornamentation in the regional style.
