Editor's Note
It lies within the bounds of Sırataşlar Village, 30 km west of Sarıkamış district. By virtue of its position, the castle commands the surrounding area and stands close to Micingert Castle, another important fortress in İnkaya Village. In light of pottery finds, the castle shows features of the Iron Age and the Middle Ages. See: Historical and Archaeological Research in Sarıkamış.
