Behram Paşa, together with the governors-general of Karaman and Aleppo who had joined him, again engaged him in battle at Cincife near Tokat on 8 June 1527. In the very hard-fought battle, Behram Paşa was again defeated. In the battle the governor-general of Karaman, the governors of Alâiye, Amasya and Birecik, and the timar treasurers of Karaman and Anatolia lost their lives.
