Editor's Note
The "Sık Dişini Privy" in Tokat was built in the 15th century and served as a public latrine for the townspeople from the 15th to the 19th century. Turned into a storehouse in the 19th century and left to fall into ruin, the building was restored between 2016 and 2022 and reopened in 2025 as the "Museum of Cleanliness and Water Culture." Because the building has no original inscription, however, its exact construction date and founder remain unknown.
