The fortress ruin identified to the south of Ilyasbey Village lies on a hilltop commanding the valley. Of the fortress ruin, which dominates the valley on the south side of a fairly high hill, only part of the watch section and foundation remains visible above and below ground have survived. At a spot dug out by illegal excavation, the remains of a watchtower 110 cm wide and 3 m long, built of rubble stone with Horasan mortar, were identified. The fortress ruin is of rubble-stone construction with walls about 110 cm thick, and no trace of mortar was found in the masonry.
