Editor's Note
Located on Kumbasi Street in the Mustafa Kemal Pasha neighborhood, the building is among the registered cultural assets. It was identified and published by S. Eyice in 1948 (Eyice 1949, 38). The church ruin, measuring 22.50 x 12.50 m, has a closed Greek-cross plan with a single narthex and three apses. The area, used as a nursery garden when it was identified, was turned into a park during the Republican era. The southern side aisle and the southwest corner of the narthex have survived to the present day (Ermis 2009, 103-104). The church was built in alternating courses of brick and stone.
