Editor's Note
Built of adobe, it belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations. It was opened for worship around 1944. Because its minaret was made of wood, it is also known as the Wooden Minaret Mosque. The carved woodwork of its ceiling has survived to the present day undamaged.
