Editor's Note
The tomb is located in an area midway between Güdül center and Sapanlı, in the Sapanlı neighborhood of the Güdül district of Ankara province. A tomb was later built over it by the municipality and is not original. According to legend, when Murad IV passed through here with Genç Osman on their way to conquer Baghdad, they decided to stop and rest. Kasım Dede offered the arriving soldiers a sack of flatbread. But although the sack should have run out once each soldier had taken a flatbread, it never did, more flatbreads kept appearing, and Kasım Dede fed an entire army there.
