Ketenderesi, located in the northwest of Bursa Province, lies between Eşkel and Kapanca Harbour. It is reached by turning right after about 8.5 kilometres on the road from Trilye to Eşkel. The site is located where the Ketenderesi stream reaches the Sea of Marmara, and it takes its name from this small stream. During the surface surveys carried out at Ketenderesi in 2011 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şahin, the most striking finds along the shoreline were building walls, roof tiles and a short row of stones lined up out into the sea.
