Editor's Note
It lies within the village of Camyurt in the Lapseki district of Canakkale province. Within the farmland here, remains decorated with Greek-cross motifs that can be dated to the Middle Byzantine period, together with column-base fragments, cross-carved cut stone, and burial tile fragments, suggest the likely presence of a church and a settlement around it. It was registered by the Canakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage under decision no. 10897 dated 26.02.2025.
