Editor's Note
It lies within the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Lapseki district of Canakkale province. According to the typology established by Takaoglu on the basis of archival documents, the structure belongs to the group of ground mills with a tower-like, cylindrical stone-built body. According to its inventory record, the building was constructed in the 19th century. It was registered by the Canakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage under decision no. 5229 dated 27.02.2019.
