Editor's Note
This bathhouse lies within the boundaries of Umurbey village, in the town of Lapseki, Çanakkale province. It was commissioned by Halil Ağa. Built of rubble stone and brick, the bathhouse is now derelict, though parts of its warm room, hot room and private bathing chambers survive to the present day. It was registered as a first-grade cultural asset requiring protection by the Çanakkale Regional Conservation Directorate by decision no. 11599, dated 2 October 2025.
