This fountain lies within the boundaries of Sarıcaeli village, in the central district of Çanakkale province. It was commissioned by Cevat Çobanlı Pasha, commander of the Çanakkale Fortified Zone, during the Çanakkale (Gallipoli) campaign. Built of cut stone, the fountain has a single façade. Its basin and the surface above it were recently faced with tile. It was registered as a protected cultural asset by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 8945, dated 29 May 2023.
