Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Bakacak village, in the Biga district of Çanakkale province. According to the Arabic inscription carved on its minaret base, it was built in AH 1318 (AD 1900). It is a rectangular-plan building with a hipped roof. The village elders say it was built by a Greek master craftsman who constructed many of the mosques in the area.
