Editor's Note
On the Serdarbulak plateau between Greater Ararat and Lesser Ararat, at an altitude of 2,400 meters in the very center of the plateau, stands the Russian Barracks, thought to have been built by the Russians in 1887. Covering an area of 4,000 square meters, it is a single-storey, rectangular historic building made of basalt stone.
