Saint Hakob of Akori Monastery was an Armenian monastery complex in the historic region of Surmalu, about 4.7 km southwest of Akori, a village on the northeastern slope of Mount Ararat. Built in 341, it was destroyed by an earthquake and lahar in 1840; Akori was later rebuilt and is today the small village of Yenidoğan.
