It was built in 2021 in place of the dervish lodge that stood here before the 1939 earthquake. The esteemed ancestors of Muhammed Beşir Efendi came from Medina by way of Bukhara, Baghdad, Antep, and Maraş in turn, and later arrived in Erzincan in the 1800s. Beşir Efendi was born in the village of Saztepe (Küpesük) in Erzincan. His father later settled in the village of Karakaya (Keleriç) in Erzincan. In 1882, Muhammed Beşir Efendi became a disciple of the Nakşi successor Muhammed Sâmî. After a long period of service, in 1908 he was appointed to spiritual guidance (irşâd) with absolute caliphate.
