Editor's Note

The Emek Apartment Building, the first apartment block in Sivas, was built in 1938. Its design and construction are said to be the work of Todor Usta. Entered directly from the street, the building also had a rear garden. It contained eight symmetrically arranged residential units on each floor. The building was demolished in 2015.
